Just Call Her Alfalfa
A few weeks ago, my daughter cut a section of her own hair. After I very nearly made the poor girl cry with my own cries of, “your hair! Your beautiful hair!” I decided that the hack job probably wasn’t as bad as all that. It was cropped right to the scalp and wasn’t noticeable at all.
Enter the variable known as “the passage of time,” which is known to change everything. The chopped section of hair is now about 1.5 inches long, and sticks straight out. I’ll call it a life lesson. For me. With the lesson being “never let your four year old trouble-magnet out of your sight.” Ever.
Yep. Every day is an adventure.

It isn’t that noticeable at all! My niece did that once, too, but much more hair lol. So, every time I cut the kids’ hair, I give the standard lecture about how they do NOT cut their own hair and they do NOT allow any one else to cut their hair besides mommy. Not even daddy lol.
wow! i remember my daughter doing the same exact thing. well except she said she didn’t want bangs so she cut them off. i almost cried it looked so bad! she has recently started talking about cutting her own bangs. she’s almost 16 so i guess that’s ok!
Oh, my! At least it does grow back!
